"Di Canio first resigned last Tuesday and missed training on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday last week."
That begs the question, why did he take charge on Saturday?

He'll be in charge at a championship club at least this time next week, it wouldn't surprise me if he already has something in the pipeline.

It's disappointing but that's lower league football for you. Roll on Mike Newell & a board that promises plan x y z and more money than you can shake a stick at....

So, PDC set a deadline for the new board that was in the hands of the Football League rather than the new board themselves, with that deadline just over 24 hours ahead of a massive game for the club.  Not impressed with his timing at all, irrespective of any other factors.
