One all my all time favourites. Started supporting Swindon in '89. He is amongst the best. Hope to goodness he pulls through.

Torquay are now looking for an experienced coach to help Shaun Taylor to stop the slump in form. A Devon paper also said " As Lings absence through illness moves into the third week, United reluctantly involved his union, the league managers association to move a difficult situation on " Hope Lingy gets well soon.

A hyperactive box to box midfielder who helped link the best passing Swindon teams ever - and then managed the team that sent the Pox back down where they belong.
Good luck firstly with your health and family, Lingy and then of course with the football.

i've only seen him play on video (playoff final in 94) and a few clips here and there but he looked like a brilliant player. surprised to see he only made about 150 lg apps for us though.

He had his moments but I wouldn't put him in the brilliant bracket. Lingy was good, John Moncur was brilliant.

Everyone had crap hair in the early 90's. I think I was still rocking the long golden curls down past my shoulders.
