Nope, but he was 10x more enthusiastic than he was at Crawley.

@SamMorshead_SA: Just got off a half hour phone call which gave me no reason to believe an ounce of that Mirror story. #stfc

I wouldn't have much faith in  that. Last time I sang my guts out I had two 20 plus year of age guys titter in my direction. There are so many people in the town end so embarrassed about what might people think if they raise their voices. Fucking cowards. It is embarrassing. We are in the end game of the most joyful period in our history, with possibly the most charismatic figure in footballing history, and they are mute!!! Fuck 'em, go laugh at yourselves when we are back in the doldrums, you wretched scumbags.

Titter, titter, get on with your little lives.

They deserve the club they fail to cheer into existence.

It's all very well not being confident because you're shy, but to point at others, well, no wonder our home atmosphere is so shite. That's right, meet up with Leefer, have a few drinks in the pub and then lose your voice, you know who you are! We are undergoing an upheaval that will rip apart the most exuberant chapter in our club's history, and yet no voice?

No, but he was well, well up for it though, as Bruce said.

Collins celebrating by cupping his ear  Smiley what was that all about? If he was getting any stick from their fans we would of heard them  ;)Sssshhhhhhh

I thought that was a bit odd as well.

I thought we were brilliant last night.

Small squad, illness in the camp, another horrendous pitch and yet we showed great character and we should have won by more in the end. The change to 3 up front in the second half really mad a difference. Wes made a couple of good saves in the first half, but after that they never looked like scoring.

Rooney looked good, as did Collins when he came on. Roberts had another decent game and I thought Ward and Thompson were brilliant as well.

Town fans were a credit to the club again, great turnout and a decent atmosphere, especially in the second half.

I can safely say I don't want to be heading back to Colchester any time soon. Awful location for a ground, no atmosphere from the home fans and a ridiculous amount of empty seats. Although the buses to and from the station that they put on are quite good.

Fantastic 3 points in in difficult circumstances!
