I see your point, but BEST were dealing with another bunch of unscrupulous shysters in the form of 'unofficial directors'...in this case however I'm not (yet) convinced that the professionalism shown thus far from the current board would allow themselves to be duped in the manner of BEST...
I hope not. And I agree the personnel are very different this time round. And hopefully tomorrow it will all turn out to be a bit of last-minute takeover kerfuffle (albeit with the sorry side-effect of one of our best players going to one of our rivals for buttons), but the way this has unfolded over the last couple of days really does not stack up. At all.

He's talking about Man City, having sold super Mario! So they'll be looking to buy a striker tomorrow.

Ah I see, thanks.

City in for Williams then?!!!

Paull....Totally agree with your last comments.

Blacks recent actions seem unprofessional to say the very least and if he is prepared to write of his investment as well as his previous partners just seems so strange.

Just have a feeling that perhaps Wray and Fitton still have a future with STFC.

I really hope so.

Feeling very deflated currently is an understatement.

Trouble is I have been here too many times before with the Town and unfortunately all we fans have got in the past is snippets of supposed "information", half-truths and downright lies and very, very rarely do we get told the truth until it is bad news and the sh*t hits the proverbial fan. The current board I thought had risen above all that and am disappointed in the way it is being handled at the moment as it all seems a bit rushed, but Mr Black and his money has got us to where we are at present and thanks has got to be given for that. I can only hope that whoever eventually takes the club over can continue on the same lines.

We are having a tremendous season on the pitch so far and also very disappointed that Matt Richie is going for what appears to be a not very good fee to basically a smaller club than us but currently a rival for promotion. It certainly does not make sense to me and I hope that PdC was party to it and it did not happen without his knowledge!

 Hmmm

Really? We won't go down. Even if we get a 10 point deduction. We'd have to lose half the squad before relegation happened this season.

Sorry for being lazy, but a red mist has descended... what benefit is there in selling Ritchie for absolute peanuts? Too much to read, but has any explanation been offered?

I really don't know what to make of all this shite, but i'm feeling like we're going to be screwed over by a group of chancers.

Dunno what the fuss is all about, our club has been sold to an unknown group fronted by a double glazing salesman who don't appear to have any cash...

Seems like a typical STFC kind of day - what could go wrong....
