For me it still leaves a nasty taste. Would have been more polished to say that the club had recieved "damages" in the form of a donation to the Wiltshire air Amulance charity. |

Surely this hack only wrote a retraction, because he was forced to...ergo he deserves no credit whatsoever. |

He was not forced to....he could have resigned from his job and let the paper carry the can.
He fucked up....hes apologised along with the paper....Swindon Town are happy with that...a charity has benefited to the tune of £500...
He apoligised to the fans also....will i buy the paper...no.
Is he a twat....probably.
Is there more to life than worrying about people like him...most deffo.

All this talk of a crusade against insolvency is a sack of shit and misdirection. If so, it would have mentioned other clubs and included Town within the wider piece not have the whole fucking article about the Town. Also, it was based on one comment taken out of context. The guy si a fucking pillock and the editor is no better.
Its nothing to do with over enthusiasm and crusades - its about a journalist and editor fucking up in a libellous manner and then trying to get out of the shit, they created by their own stupidity and shodinness.
