They were shit when we beat them, but they have a lot of good players and Howe seems to know how to get them to actually play.

Assuming we have cash to strengthen with loans I still have absolutely no idea if we will finish top or just outside the playoffs. All the teams up there have looked good and shit at times.

I hope at the end of the season we don't rue the home games against Donny and Hartlepool. But I bet every team can say that about someone.

Some interesting games next Saturday as has been mentioned. The top 4 or all playing each other..

Bournemouth v Sheff Utd
Doncaster v Yeovil

also Brentford v Walsall

With that in mind, a draw at Tranmere would not be bad at all, although it goes against the grain for me to say it - I always want to see us go out and win every game.

If we could sneak a win there though and another next Saturday......easy tiger...one game at a time...

A month later and a non-matchday Saturday will once again rear its ugly head...

I'm going to head into Swindon anyway.

Catch up on the formula 1 practice and qualifying that I sky +'d, and a bit of Gillette Soccer Saturday.

Entertaining the kids whilst the wife is out this morning. Finish glossing the skirting boards (it's only taken 4 months so far) and then settle down to watch the rugby later this afternoon.

Off to a school friend's 40th in London.  Beer & rugby followed by a meal.  Massive day for the rugby today.  Can't say I'm confident, though.  I think Wales will edge it.

I see Paolo is giving another cum-and-get-me interview on Football Focus today.

We really should let him go

Yet another Saturday without a game. At least it gives the players a longer rest.
