Seems King is moist about the lad, but do we have a snifter at a full time deal?

I did clock that on the trail end of his arrival interview on the official site he tagged on the standard loan player response that he'll see how it goes then "see what happens after".

Normally I'd say not a chance but with at least one departure possibly three over the next month we may have the spondoolies to be able to grease some sort of deal.

Out of favour at Derby but still highly rated, by the fans at least.

They seem to be having a decent enough season by their own standards (8th) and George Burley seems to be opting for a lot of foreign players, which seems to be working in the short term.  Still having seen his form they may well quickly change their minds about any possibility there was for the youngster to leave.

That said we should be able to hook him for a further month ideally to the end of the season.

Extended loan maybe, but certainly not a permanent job IMO

The staff, not just the fans, rate him.

Absolutely no chance I'm afraid.

Apparently he said should Derby not guarantee him first team football and should Swindon get a good promotion push together "you never know". Be a fantastic addition and seems keen-ish but how much would he cost?

If i was the manager of a Championship/Premiership team i would think twice before letting a young starlet come to Swindon on loan,it seems we do our best to unsettle the lads so they start to think about moving here.

No chance, he's highly rated at Derby i doubt they have any intention of letting him go in the near future. If they were gonna let him go, he'd be far more likely to go to a Championship team anyway, e.g. Brighton!

Not quite another Milner as it was obvious that he was too goos for us, whereas Holmes is about League 2 standard at the moment.
I can't see Derby letting him go because he is definitely one for the future. Sad

Better chance of keeping him than Milner but definitely not worth letting go from a derby point of view. He is one for the future and would want to leave if we didn't go up.
