TEF,
A number of the grounstaff are away Skiing this weekend which leaves us a bit short. I am looking for around 6-8 people to help uncovering the pitch by taking off the frost sheets on Saturday morning starting at 9am. It will take around 2 hours of your time and you will be rewarded with a matchday ticket!!
PM me if you're interested.
Thanks.

I've got a ST, do I get an airline style upgrade to the directors lounge with all the benefits therein?

We can give you the opportunity to stay after the game and fork the pitch for an hour. Sound good?

Try reading my original post again. A one word answer would be good either starting with a y or an n. I am sure you'll get the requisite number of bodies to help you prior to kick off. As for the offer to fork the pitch post match I'm afraid I will have to give that a miss. Anyway don't the apprentices get to learn their craft by doing this kind of stuff like the good old days or is that beneath them?

No upgrade I'm afraid.

Only 2 people have taken this up so far. Anyone else interested?

Would if I could. Surprised there isn't more interest. Are the covers already on? We'll do well to get the game on given the forecast.

The weather's not looking great. More snow on Friday/Saturday and the temperature not getting above freezing during the day. I hope the covers do the trick.

Won't the pitch be yellow by Saturday?

Grubby, can't believe more people haven't taken you up on the offer.

I'm out of Town so can't, surely the Adver can help?

Hopefully it won't be too yellow with the covers being on so long. We'll see on Saturday.

I can't believe only 3 people have come forward so far.

I'll start the excuses with 'have family commitments'. Would do it otherwise. Can't be as bad as shovelling snow off the pitch (x2)!

My wife is working this weekend.  Otherwise, I'd jump at this.  How often do you get the chance to step out on to the pitch, without being chased off it again by a steward?
