ok. my birthday happens to be the day before bmuff away, so i was obviously planning a weekend in bmuff for my birthday. but my girlfriend has now had a ticket bought for her to go to the goodwood festival of speed revival for her friends 21st birthday "do". she'll obviously attend her friends birthday knees up but will miss all of my plans.
apparently i'm supposed to see how this is the right thing to do and not want to stab her and her friend repeatedly.
other factors:
-basically we're moving to london just after my birthday so she feels like she'll never see her mate again
-her friends family is a bit of turmoil
-this goodwood BOLLOCKS is over two days (sat/sun)
we argued last night about how this isn't fair and i've had basically no sleep all night (YAY!), any suggestions oh wise people of the net?

Oh yeah make her feel bad about it, she is missing your birthday. Maybe nearer her birthday organise a lad's trip to "for your eyes only" or something, make sure it clashes with her plans and just say "Terry's had a really bad time of it lately, he's feeling really down...blah blah blah". Play her at her own game.

i'm not the forgiving kind and everytime she'll fuck me off when we live together the red mist will descend. THEY HAD TWO CHOICES!!! SATURDAY OR SUNDAY. one IS my birthday, the other ISN'T....so which one have they chosen!?!?!? *fucked off emoticon*

personally i don't see what the problem is here.
It's her mates 21st who she isn't going to see much of once you move so it isn't a problem.
Let her go and enjoy herself and you go away and watch footie with the lads. Can't think of a better way to spend the weekend.
No need to argue as theres nothing to argue about. If she's moving to London with you then there will be other birthdays etc so 2 days with her mates wont hurt.
