No such thing as a routine header on debut arriba, was a fair distance out and placed it lovely.

Though granted jumping and arching his body like a salmon may have pushed it a tad as you imply Embarrassed

The unpredictability of the season continues....didn`t see this one coming at all but all accounts we played them off the park and have seen the highlights and it seems that way. Dont bother listening to DiCanio anymore after the match or before but I hope even he had the humility to speak in postive terms about this performance.....

Tuesday should be interesting with Villa I suspect wanting to sort out there league form rather than get bogged down in not so important cups.

Bring it on...normally you should be able to say we are probably favourites but....this season who knows....never a dull moment.

Get over it

Geoff Salmons played for Sheff U, Stoke, Leicester and Chesterfield, late 60's through the 70's...must have played v Town a few times, although not sure if he ever scored against us.

Word is every time he scored he couldn't remember it the next day.....his celebration was to blink with no emotion in front of the away fans while pretending to blow kisses.

Mike Salmon used to keep them out of the net Cheesy played against us a few times for Stockport and Charlton in goal in the 80s and 90s.

just seen the League 1 team of the week on the football league website.

Only Swindon player in it is Wes!!!

What's that about?  He only needed to make one save whilst the rest of the team dominate the match and none of them make the selection.  If there were 10 outfield players who outperformed all of our 10 on Saturday there must have been some special performances around.

A fucking cracking save though- looked to take a wicked deflection off someones hand from where I sat. It might have been a fair shout for a pen.

Granted that just about everyone in the Boca kit would be in with a 'Team of the week' shout.

I thought Macca had a blinding game as well as Rafa and Storey. Benno was his usual run like a bastard and he got some good tackles in.

Rafa's goal was sweet, taking the ball on his chest then vollying on the turn.

Bring it on this evening!
