Ah, fuck it, I'll get dog's abuse for this, but Ward did fine in the first half, he did the ugly stuff well.  Yes, he got worse during the second half, but he wasn't that bad.  He's hardly Richard Dryden.

...more Jason Drysdale  Cheesy . Na, he wasn't too bad in the first half. In the second half he was the worst player on the pitch but even our best players (big Wes) can have a terrible half.

Drysdale from the halfway line.

Ward to me is the new Alan Reeves. A blond central defender signed from a South London club towards the end of his career. Some definite Reeves clearances and didn't Alan wear the number 22 shirt as well.

Number 1 is Alan Reeves
Number 2 is Alan Reeves
And number 3 is Alan Reeves
Number 4 is Alan Reeves.....
We all dream of a team of Alan Reeves
A team of Alan Reeves,
A team of Alan Reeves....

He did indeed wear 22. Thought he was shit when we were half decent, quite liked him when we were shit. Reeeeeeves.

So will he end up becoming a first team coach and pick himself every week so he can get his playing bonus? (according to david duke interview)

Tweeting abuse is wank.

I am happy to post on here about how shit he was, as I really don't expect the players to read this shit.

For me this is for fans.....tweeting is direct and OOO IMO.

Also....I would never boo a town player. Just wouldn't cheer his selection.

He had a mare...end of story.

It's the same after a game and booing if we draw or lose. At Oxford the guys in front of me were booing and giving the players shit and was just pointless. If I ever (rare as rocking horse shit) think a performance doesn't warrant an applause then I just fuck off home and remain silent.

Fuck that shit, embarrassing team performances deserve booing sometimes. Wouldn't do it to an individual player, and last night was extremely disappointing but not worth booing by a long chalk.

Shit I heard some tits booing after drawing at home last season! Maybe they were messing around, would hope so.

I have booed once, after a home game in 10/11, christ knows who against but this it was the game of Hart's famous 433 formation.

I think it was justified then.

I don't think it's been justified in this season or last at all.

That was the Notts County debacle.  I think the majority of the crowd booed in that one.  Season tickets were being thrown and all sorts.

I've been tempted to do that a few times. Never would though, the next game might be alright.

Is it ok to boo players in a game?

Is it ok to castigate a player after a game for a shit performance?

Is it ok to mention a player made a mistake which cost us a game after the game, while also pointing out they are learning still and need to keep focussed?

ps, Ward has played consistently at a better level than we are used to in recent years and been seen as a rock at Millwall.  It may be jumping the gun a little on my behalf, but it could just be that he is an ok footballer who had a shit game?
