Amazing to think they've beaten us 8 times in the last 22 years. I'm still in the black though!

Those would be my favs too, but the 2-0 win there in 2001 stands out for me.

I think my all time favourite trip to the Manor was this one, brilliant game with Shearer scoring a couple in a 4-2 victory.

Although I really enjoyed the game in 93 we won 1-0 at the Manor when England International Andy Gray was on loan to us from Spurs and seemed more interested in the Spurs score when it came up on the scoreboard during the game than he was in the actual game!

And the game in 93.

As for home games none can beat the game in 97 when we stuffed them 4-1 and Joey Bumchum started crying and was substituted.....happy days.

Unfortunately not, that was the last time I went to a Swindon vs Pox game as well and one of them was an absolute cracker IIRC.

Edit. actually both were long rangers weren't they?

Edge of the box if I recall. My first Oxford away game, a couple of days before my 15th birthday.

Loved Walters doing Beauchamp in the centre circle when the ball was miles away

I have never, before or since, witnessed a more comprehensive and sustained battering of a player during a game of football.  The ref offered Beauchamp no protection at all.  It was open season.  Poor bastard couldn't work out what had hit him, or even where the next clatter was coming from.  I'm surprised he got to leave the field of play in one piece.

We have only lost to the Pox 9 times since 1973.

I can think of 5 (twice last season, FA Cup 2001, 5-3 at the Manor in 1992 and 3-0 at the Manor about 5 years later) off the top of my head.  So probably, yes.
