Seems like the Euros were ages ago now, but the WC qualifiers will soon be upon us so this is the first chance for Woy, to really stamp his own mark on the side.

Bizarrely and seemingly fittingly tonight's match is being played in the Wankdorf Stadium, in Switzerland.

First impressions are that increasingly Woy will have to pick players who don't get into their club sides. I know a few young uns are getting a game and Jack Butland is swapping Whaddon Road for something a little bigger. Should be interesting, for us dwindling band of TEFers interested in the national side.

Oh and will be interesting to see what Italy are up to post Euro 12.

Not seen what sort of side Italy are putting out. Will be interesting to see how we get on with so many new/newish faces in the squad and lots of big names not playing.

It's in Llanelli so no. If it was Cardiff or Swansea I would have done.

Llanelli is only about 30 minutes away from Swansea.

Anyone else noticing the super imposed ads around the pitch?

Llanelli use the Scarlets ground which is on the retail park, parc Trostre. A smaller version of the Liberty Staduim, which is not that amazing as this was built by the same company. I used to saty in the premier inn a few hundred yards away regularly until recently. I watched Llanelli play Motherwell in a preliminary round of the UEFA cup about three years ago.

Bloody odd isn't it. Every time the switch to a different camera angle you see the proper ad boards.

Yes, really annoying they seemed to turn them of after 20 mins but they're back again second half.
