I can't believe the new season has started.

Didn't realise the Charity Shield was on until I saw the result and now the League Cup has started.

Feels like it kind of crept up on me. Seems like only yesterday I was caught up in the full swing of the Olympics.

If we lose tomorrow then my season will start Saturday but everyone knows the REAL season starts when the Premier League kicks off.

Really?

I saw about 10 secs of the Charity Shield at the weekend and couldn't bear any more. Turned it over to watch some Johnny foreigners tearing around a man made course on mountain bikes. I have no interest in the Premier League. No interest in any of the foreign leagues. A bit of interest in L2 to see how the likes of 'Nam get on and some interest in the Conference to see how Forest Green do.

Indeed, oh the irony  Smiley

I have Sky but watch less than 10-15 Premier games a year, I tend to watch more FA Cup and league games now. I see fewer and fewer players who have the desire and fight in them to do that League justice so I watch games where, I feel, players have a little more grit.

I did not realise the Charity Shield was on either. I also have SS but barely watch premier league games. I wil be staying at home tomorrow to watch the game. though we are going to Hartlepool on Saturday.
