I have a fridge that doesn't get cold enough, even when put on max. Any suggestions? It has a freezer next to it and you can feel the heat dispersion coming from the freezer right next to the fridge door seals.

Set up a clever device that pumps cold air from the freezer to the fridge which at the same time does not cause the freezer temperatutre to drop and will also trap moisture so it doesn't ice up.

Problem solved.

Move it further away from the wall so the element on the back has decent airflow. Make sure said element is clean.

I would guess the seal is perforated allowing the recent hot weather to penetrate the interior thus causing shagged fridge, as mentioned before, the element could also do with breathing. In short I would say its fucked.

Thanks guys. I guess replacing the seal would be the cheapest option. I don't keep anything vital in it; milk, salad, cheese etc. I keep all my beer in the fridge freezer in the garage  Smiley

My dishwasher now appears to be shagged, it's a Whirlpool and the start button just flashes. I wacked about 1kg of salt in and nothings changed. Any ideas?

Assuming you are serious - make sure the water is getting in, and make sure the waste pipe out isn't blocked.
