Its not really slow paced when you think about how many people are out on a course at the same time.
Watching the best players hitting the ball and shaping it so well i enjoy as much as any football match.
Plus you get to see how they each play a certain hole if you park yourself there. Watch a group of the worlds best players play a hole,then 5 mins later another group of the worlds best come a do the same thing in a different way.
I love it.
Plus as a player of the game you can play all the courses the pros do if you want.

I get why people don't like it i suppose as i hate cricket and motor sports which other people love.

Golf is the one sport I can think of where the average good club player is so infinitely far behind the pros. And that;'s why I love watching it, there are shots in the game that only 1 or 2 guys in the world can execute, you don't get that with football.

I honestly don't know how people can watch motorsport, for me it's a completely and utterly boring sport to watch but some people love it, on the other hand I can't get enough of NFL/ college football and I know people who find that the shittest sport about. All about opinions.

Anyone could fluke a long putt-hole in 1 chip in from 50 yards etc. Likewise a screamer over the rec with a football.
It's what you do after that makes a player what he-she is. Snooker is a good shout particularly the 147 break but i dont see how you can put one against the other.
Think the masters of both deserve the credit they get
