Millwall at Wembley. Never felt so depressed / angry after a game. At least with the relegations you knew it was coming but to be so inept for such a big game was almost heartbreaking. Everything about that day was naff.

My worst away day was in 82 away at Newport when we were relegated to the bottom division for the first time with a poor 1-0 defeat to a late penalty with lots of crowd trouble.

Just horrible.

Hull away-1988 ish. Drove all the way there with 3 mates in shocking snowy conditions. Listened to the radio all the way-game still on- then pulled into the car park to be told "sorry fellas, the game has just been called off". 5 hour journey wasted. Crying
I remember this one as well, I went up with 3 mates to Hull to be told this game was off as well!.  It was 1988 and I remember asking John Trollope for an FA Cup ticket to Newcastle.  Did gets to walk out on the pitch though,  bit of a dump!
