Swindon 2 Brizzle Rovers 2 towards the end of the promotion season in 1969.
If my memory is correct we sat on wooden benchesnear the touchline on the north side before the Arkells (aka north stand) was built

Ditto and how strange? The second game I watched was against Gibraltar....8-0. Must of felt for them as I moved there for 18 yrs

Was also at Eastville and remember the rock throwing , haven't seen that footage  Smiley Great memories. They were picking off smaller groups of Swindon coming away from the ground, we bumped into some Rovers supporters we knew and walked up the road with them, probably stopped us from getting a kicking to be honest.

A young Shearer crossed for old boy Rideout to equalise........then Saints scored two more in extra time...Alan Mac was brilliant and probably the reason the Saints paid a million for him a few months later.

It would have been a million if they didn't drop him after he played 24 games!

I remember Shilton running out expecting applause and getting a chorus of "Maradonna"

I was a bit torn on that one, 'cos I hated the hand-balling little cunt, but I put my petty issues aside and did my bit to wind up the opposition, for the benefit of STFC

No Woolster cant remember that chanting but i vividly remember the Gittens moment....i remember it was well juicy in the local streets before and after.
