Me too.  I think most clubs would be pleased to have this resource.

Swindon 1 Cheltenham 3.   2007, cold wet tuesday night, LDV Vans trophy.

Fuck knows why I came back

Glad to have done so now though.    Cheesy

I remember that game, was a real possibility that could have been our last ever game, dark days...makes the success last season all the better!

Wasnt my first game but first game i drove to as out-of-towner fresh from ditching the "L" plates was around 1999 when Ipswich turned us over 6-0.

Got back to the car and it didnt start, had to wait for an hour for recovery service.

Brutal day

I'm pretty sure I've sat in the intel-don rogers when away fans were in the town end.

I thought they knocked the shrivv road stand down and built the intel stand in the preseason between the prem season and the following season?

I know my dad took me to see us play Notts County, his team, in the late '50s so by looking at this wonderful site I can see it had to be October 4th 1958. 3 - 1 win, just before Bert's babes came in en masse. I was 7 and remember nowt about it.

I see John Sheridan played for County - a couple of seasons later he broke Terry Woollen's leg and was sent off, effectively ending Terry's career.

Don't worry I had the same problem. Another thing that I now recall, is my early introduction to football violence. Strange as it may seem now a days, two blokes having a scrap in the Arkells

during th 97/98 season they moved the family section from the Town End to where the away supporters are now. And away supporters had the Town End for a few games.

I remember the first game the family section was in the away section of the arkells stand...because we had a perfect view of George Ndahs backwards scissor kick goal v Sheffield United. Same game Scott  Leitch nearly scored a half volley from near the halfway line

My first game was a pre season friendly at Calne Town 92/93 time.

My first official game was against Blackpool 1995 1-1.

I share with Kerry Red - home to Bristol Rovers in 68, 2-2,  was my first - I wasn't that interested in football to be honest, but I was away at boarding school, where everyone supported either Pompey or Plymouth (Navy connections...) so had to show an interest.  Never looked back, especially with 69 to come....can still remember the total and absolute joy and excitement when Town beat Burnley.....
