The amount of rain we have been getting 0-0 looks the most likely result at the moment

I'm there on Day 4 so hopefully the batters can match the bowlers for the first few days. Weather looks like showers for Day 1 and Day 2 but should get enough play in to make a result possible. Might take Monday off in case of cheap day 5 tickets too.

SA have a formidable batting lineup so i don't think this one will be so easy and we have to make sure to take catches. It said in the paper today that we only took 55% of catches against the Aussies.

Even so, I think we'll have enough to win the series but only just, 2-1.

Great start today after Strauss going 4th ball of the match!

Cook on song again with his 20th test match 100!!!

Hopefully rack on the runs 500+ tomorrow on a road and bowl the SAffers out twice in 3 days!

Watched the highlights tonight having not seen the score. Great to see Cook and Trott trundle along before KP got a decent score too. Hopefully we can push on towards 500 tomorrow, although the weather forecast doesn't look too promising.

Great start yesterday and a great toss to win. We really must press home the advantage today. Part of me would love to kick back and watch it over the weekend, but after nearly a month without playing because of this awful weather, cannot wait for 2 solid days of sunshine and 2 games of cricket.

Shit start today!  Cook and Bopara gone, Steyn on form, annoyingly loud saffer on TMS.  Might turn off till he buggers off.

I quite like Manthorpe but he's not the best of their overseas commentators, they usually get cracking ones. Tony Cozier during the Windies series was excellent.

Don't worry, Bresnan will score plenty. 400 total I reckon.

Prior just gone.  Good 60 though and a competitive total on the cards.

86-1 in reply so a good start, could do with taking a couple of early ones tomorrow, just to get them a bit edgey!!!

Looking forward to playing myself for the first time in 4 weeks the weather has left me feeling a bit like this>> Bad Mood
