Well with the Russians any time you fancy it seems.

Cox starting tonight for the irish

First time we've had a proper old boy play in a major tournament since the Fridge did a memorable marking job on Ronaldo, in the 98 WC.  Smiley

Anyone else agree that there is just something very unsavoury about the countries that used to make up Yugoslavia.

Croatian flags in the crowd emblazoned with pictures of some military leader. Them and the Serbs make my skin crawl

No doubt. But I would imagine every country with a large tourist industry puts on its best face

For a moment there I expected Rideout to appear out of the smoke and smack it in the back of the filth net

I need to get some sleep

Which military leader?

One of those that murdered thousands no doubt. Karadic? Not sure if he's Serb or Croat. On trial at the moment for war crimes

He earned it for his effort when coming on against the Croats.

Good luck to him.

He did more than McGeady did within the first 60 seconds of coming on. McGeady is lucky to keep his place.
