I love the fact that neither has a British boxing license, so they're staging it under the authority of Luxembourg.
Actually, is that legal? If I get my UK driving license taken away for mounting the kerb and taking out a lamp post / telephone box / line of toddlers while 3 times over the limit, can I just go somewhere else, get a driving license and drive around Britain like nothing happened?

Just heard that the technical difference between a suspension and a ban is what's allowing this one to happen. A ban would've meant that no licensing authority could make it happen. The suspension means that the fight can go ahead under a different authority.
Strange. And it ruins my admittedly weak analogy.

I find it funny that people will happily to pay to watch two people to batter the fuck out of each other and then get a bit miffed when they do it outside of a 'controlled environment'.
Yes they behaved like twats but at least it makes things entertaining. You can't say the same about the Klitschkos, who although they are classy fighters, bore the living fuck out of you.

Haye's fucking top drawer, as a cruiserweight at least - not his fault he's not big enough to be a heavyweight really. Althought he let himself down against WK by being a pansy.
With a smidgen of luck he'll end Chisora's career.
This is about the most I've ever agreed with a DMR post. It must be said that the buildup will probably be far better than the fight though. |
