Big problem with JoJo is their midweek game us v Zimbabwe in Harare and they are on the UK red list.

So another 10 days after that. Being selfish, hopefully being in the provisional squad doesn’t actually mean he definitely travels for the games.

Not sure about Jamaica and Grant. Hopefully he’s not off anywhere ‘red’.

Portsmouth v Plymouth was due to be on Sky earlier this season but called off by Plymouth because of international call ups, so I se no reason why we couldn't do the same

I assume if we call it off we take the financial hit of not getting the TV cash, might that over ride the call off issues? Suppose depends upon sporting v. financial issues.

Those international call ups were a huge hindrance. Happy for the players, but selfishly I'd rather none of them got called up.

It's only £10k for the away team so it really shouldn't be a factor.

Is that all? What do the home side get out of interest?

While i do quite get that it isnt huge that would be the salary for around 5 or 6 members of staff for the month.

You really consider £10k is worthy compensation for taking a significantly weakened team to the league leaders?

Surely any excuse to face them in a few months, when they might have gone off the boil, would be the sensible option.

£10k for an away team and £30k for a home team is an absolute pitance really.

There is no way on earth we should be made to play if we have 5 regular 1st teamers missing, even 2 is too many for our squad to cope with when 1 is your first choice keeper.

I am all for calling it off.

The fella from the adver seems to think the games are played at different times, so Wollacott wouldn’t miss FGR. Just Plymouth & Rochdale.

Surely Sutton and bradford too as will need to isolate.  Most of Africa is on the red list

It's not about what i consider enough. I am just saying £10k isn't the drop in the ocean that many are saying it is. There seems to be this thought process among alot of fans that ah well Clem is loaded so fuck it. Commercial teams are working their bollocks off to secure sponsorship for a lot less than just £10k

And a shit defeat could easily knock 500 off the next home gate and there goes your £10k so even commercially if we are missing 3 or 4 players it's a no brainer to call it off.
