Yet another club who, historically, we were ahead of.

Still, we’ve got Morecambe Saturday.

We can only dream of getting back to the Brentford level again.... so therefore should concern ourselves with Morecambe on Saturday, and there's nothing wrong with that.  Benham has put 90 mill into the Bees, no doubt with more to come (pun unintended)

I think most were surprised by Power saying he'd put in 6 mill, as by the standards of most of us on here that's a fair bit, but the reality is it probably gets you to 13th in Div 4, Morecambe's spend will be a bit less, hence why we usually finish a bit above them.

Matty Taylor said last night that living in the area was a big bonus in playing for town, that could be a swayer if he gets offered a coaching role.

Who was the defender dawdling for the first goal? Pretty pathetic.

I think it was Robertson, not sure though, whoever it was gave up and on the evidence of that he should be sacked and shouldn't ever wear a Town shirt again at any level. Thats the body language of a player not wanted and who doesn't want to be there.

Yes watched it again and its definately Robertson. Also the way McCourt gives up on the through ball so easily for the 2nd.

Yes there was a distinct lack of 'cant' be arsed' on those lowlights. Very poor indeed.

By pretty much everyone there, the only one who couldn't really be faulted was McCormick who had no chance with any of the goals, Toums obviously came on as a sub and seemed yards away from stopping the cross for the 3rd, Robertson was miles away from cutting out the cross for it too and in no mans land marking nobody, although at that point most of the team were youth teamers by the look of it.

Actually, there was a preponderance of 'can't be arsed' rather than a lack of it! :-)

Thats a good point! one of the worst and slowest defenders ever to grace the County Ground pitch.

Less pace that the David Murray John Tower and the turning circle of the QEII.

I wonder who the 3 trialists were?

I guess a bit too early for Adam Johnson, although LMc seemed to be training with us while technically at HM pleasure.

I don't think any (league)team will take a gamble on Adam Johnson except maybe somebody with no morals and lots of money like Salford City.
