Kayden  Jackson ?

Wasn't an academy grad, and it's early days to say we made a mistake letting him go. 5 years of nothing before this season.

Bodin is a shout.

Looking at the released list the only one I am disappointed to see leave is Smith. Felt he offered more than both Dunne & Linganzi. Surprised that we've made an offer to Linganzi for two reasons, fitness & the fact that he doesn't dominate games as much as he should for a guy of his stature. Smith would have been cheaper & would have thrived under Brown imo but hey ho.
McDermott & Purkiss, I'm both a bit meh on. Wouldn't have been overly disappointed if either had stayed but McDermott only scored once all season & there were question marks over his fitness while the writing was on the wall for Purkiss after PB indirectly criticized him after the Newport defeat.
Preston & Taylor are must keeps & Moore will be adequate back up for Vigs (if he stays). RCC leaving is a bonus. McGivern being offered a deal is a bit of a surprise but fingers crossed he'll grab the opportunity with both hands.
& a big shout out for Flitcroft for lumbering us with Robertson for another season. Cheers for that you cunt.

We willing took up an option on Norris?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! It better be because we can get some cash for him because i would have cut and run. We have so many forward players locked down in the squad and we need to create space to get better in, this would have been that opportunity.

Little surprised over Purkiss. I know not a fans favorite but i think he was a lot better than many gave him credit for. Not sure how McGivern justifies a contract over him for example.

My biggest disappointment with the news today is just how little room we seem to have to move (assuming those offered contracts sign them). We will have 5 CB's for example and our defense has been pretty bad all season with only Conroy free of any blame for that.

Woolery would be the cut and run for me...

How many managers have we been through that haven't seen enough in Smith? I'm going to choose to side with them rather than our weird, obsessive fan base.

And if he goes on to prove us wrong, fair play. When was the last person to do that?

On the flip how many managers gave Michael Pook contracts and game time?

...and they were all bloody wrong!

Thank god Smith has left, a very limited footballer. No doubt he will be replaced by another youth product who will have a constant clamour for his inclusion, the smart money's on Twine...

Got to be worth a couple of quid on him getting an England cap now.

Mustapha Caroyal?

Didn't he choose to go with Ince when he left for Macclesfield rather than us sacking him off?

Be interesting to see how much he plays first team footy. I guess we'll have an idea with whatever signings are imminent. Still, good news though.

great news!

Indeed it is.  Matty showed himself to be a top pro, so it can only be good to have his influence around the place.

Mark Richards will be a coach the Northampton youth team.
And play for Swindon.

What the actual...

Oh OK, he still lives in Northampton, so I guess its better use of time than getting more tattoos.  Still doesn't feel right Smiley
