Hopefully he can get plenty of full matches under his belt, he could learn how to be more effective.

Didn't Embers pitch up at Brisbane Road?  So unlikely

Another 2016-17 regular gone.

These sort of deals tend to mark the end as far as the parent club are concerned. Well it does in my mind anyway.

So long, Brophy.  Bye

Without wishing to be an arsehole about it...good.

Be surprised if he ever surfaces in League football again.

Still too high I'd say, doesn't matter what level you play at if you can't do anything with the ball. His pace lets him flatter to deceive but take that away and ability wise he's probably Supermarine or lower.

I think that he is from the Alan O'Brien school of football, whereby if you can run fucking quickly coaches often think they can polish you into a footballer, but after a while realise that actually you can just run quickly with no end product and give up and pass you on, to go through various clubs until the penny drops.

When we signed O'Brien, a mate who was a Newcastle regular emailed me and said he was quick but with little football brain and no end product, and that summed him up, and does Brophy to a degree.

Brophy is still young and hopefully with regular football will improve - I think he has the makings of a decent winger but needs to learn

What's he gonna learn from Ross Embleton that he hasn't already? He had two years worth of coaching under him and didn't really improve.

And Henry only conceded once...bonus, they still lost though.

And Brophy got MOM (by some) for Orient on his debut in a 2-2 draw at Aldershot for the O's.

Although there seems to be some dispute over it - not clear cut it would seem. He must have at least done 'OK' though...

Yeah, the same as here at Swindon, Brophy seems to polarize opinions.

When are we likely to have John Goddard back?
