wtf?!
bloody odd signing on the face of it given Hylton can't get a game, and given even if Thomas leaves we will likely still have smith.
and isn't pino a forward too?
a year deal, if one for the future, must have an option.

Pino is a number 10/attacking midfielder

thanks, still seems odd to me. hopefully when he has a 1 in 3 strike rate I'll realise why we bought him.

I thought the Smith loan was just a way of getting him to Barnsley outside of the transfer window and is, to all intents and purposes, a permanent move with an agreed fee paid when the window opens again in January.

it may be, I'm assuming if there is a way to get out of it they will.
we've done the same in the past.

Can't imagine they are too keen on keeping him - it's been a disaster for both him and Barnsley.
That £600,000 we would have got from Sheff Utd if Clough hadn't been sacked would have been so sweeeeeeet!

Mighty Mike has made 11 appearances for the Tykes (4 starts) of which they've won one and drawn one losing 9. He's got more points 5 from his 4 games for us. As to whether we had a gentleman's agreement with them....which they may choose to renege on we'll have to see.

Can't imagine Power being much of a gentleman where dosh is involved.
If there's any sort of signed contract they're fecked!

With Gladwin going back after Sat's game then it free's up the loan space, although not sure what happened to the talk of him being here for the season, and then when Stewart the Liverpool lad is fit we have an issue with too many loans available again.
See what happens with all the loans in January if anyone get's made permanent, can see Louis staying here if he does not get a championship club as he's clearly not in Norwich's plans at the moment.

Could be the reverse of the Adam Rooney loan to permanent transfer. Lee Johnson did promise to take Michael Smith to the next level. I guess League 2 wasn't the plan!
