Was going to put this in the ex-town players thread......

@BBCWiltsSport: FOOTBALL: In an interview on Australian TV, @Official_STFC midfielder Massimo Luongo said it's time to move on from the club #stfc  (1/2)

This is a few days old, the reason many on twitter were melting down. Piss poor timing but like Flints answer yesterday at least its honest. We all knew he would be gone end of season but many are questioning his performances in light of that interview.
More than likely his agent has had a hand in this

I'd rather he just shut the fuck up and get his head down. he's put himself under pressure now with his own fan base. that's potentially not good for our playoff aspirations.

not going to lose any sleep over it though

Agreed he does not need to keep talking about it - get your head down and start getting some form back and be the star of the show for the play-offs

If he's asked a direct question you can't blame him for giving an honest answer.

He's not a politician....

If he gave a dishonest answer he'd be criticised for that.

Sorry if this story has already been  posted elsewhere on this forum.

http://www.foxsports.com.au/football/massimo-luongo-swindon-town-star-named-ninth-best-player-in-uk-outside-the-premier-league/story-e6frf423-1227288867318

I've read that his performances have been  a bit disappointing lately, I would not be surprised if he's feeling the pinch a bit having been involved in the World Cup and Asian Cup as well as his commitments with Swindon.

Hope he comes back to his best in the playoffs and helps you to promotion.

I believe you had another Aussie Brad Smith with you for a while, how did he look?

I'm from Sydney, never been to England, is Swindon worth a visit if I'm over that way?

Thanks guys, seems like Swindon is a must visit then, is it far from Stonehenge? Any hippie culture over there?

In Oz terms of distance Stonehenge is on the doorstep....Wiltshire/Gloucestershire is a mecca, for people with an alternative view on life.
