We do seem to have a policy of recruiting only players that are good lads. I reckon our experience with Ranger has cemented that position.

So Spurs have a buy back clause in Luongos contract where they can buy him back for what we paid for him.

No brainer if i was them, buy him back for 400k then sell for 4milliom. Wink

I see he's triggered a bit of a twitter meltdown, which is most amusing. I was also foolish enough to read the adver comments. According to one chappy, Luongo isn't fit to wear the shirt!

Bold move by Power turning down 3.5m in January then, if Spurs could take him back at any time for 400k.

Quick thought.

Why is there a supposed 50% sell on clause if Spurs can get him back for £400k (allegedly).

Disappointing, if true, but like the 50% sell-on clause my have been a condition of Town being able to sign him.

Annoying seeing several Spurs fans on Twitter talking about re-signing him for the £400k and then selling him for his reported £3-4m value, as if their club need that sort of money. Typical Premier League attitude.

Nope. Reported by the Adver based on a quote from Luongo - http://www.thisisswindontownfc.co.uk/news/11793759._It___s_probably_the_right_time_for_me_to_move_on___admits_Luongo/

I do have my doubts about the sell on to City or o*ford bit, though.  Cheesy
