At the pressser Wellens also noted that...

The main news from today's #STFC press conference: RW is confident Paul Caddis will sign his contract extension and they expect to convert one of their loan deals into a permanent signing.
Good to hear, I would guess the perm signing will be Grant. Caddis would be a great signing.

That seems to suggest that we still cannot register Donohue??

It does seem that there are still complications.

I hope we offer him another year, like we have with Conroy. He deserves it, and will be cheap.

It puts the club and Iandolo in a peculiar position, if we get promoted does he warrant a new deal (not seen him  play so cannot really comment as to whether there is a D1 player in there?)?

Reading that article it would appear that they (parent club) will not recall so he will stay on loan, that suggest either Yates or Doyle as Grant was only on loan till this window.
So who is it Doyle or Yates that is staying put?
I understand there are others on loan but none that are as influential.

For the money he'll be on, I think he warrants a one-year extension irrelevant of division. He's useful, even one level up, at least in the medium term, and it's good to do the right thing too.

If he doesn't get an extension, his career is going to be in some potential jeopardy.

I think Benda will be staying for the season, and I suspect Yates as Rotherham are going well so can probably do without and then decide if they want to offer him a new deal in the summer

That then leaves Grant & Doyle, you would guess Grant is available on a free transfer so potentially we could sign him, but I'm would suspect there is a deal for Doyle to be done also....

Grant is spending the evening liking all the mentions of him by swindon fans over the last 3 months. Read into that what you will.....

Think it’s safe to assume he’s staying. Removed any reference to being on loan and now calling himself the “Swindon Seedorf”.
