No,it's not a good point. Unless there's some kind of clause that doesn't allow us to sign other players as well.
I wasn't making a point really,  other than exercising sarcasm.

though I do wonder if we need this kind of gamble player  right now, assuming budget is as tight as expected. then someone mentioned Waterford...

Only in as much as I don't think we need another novice defender. He may well turn out to be fantastic but it's not really the sort of profile we need right now.

Short term deal, too - so the club aren't exactly convinced.

No but I wouldn't be surprised if its only a month leaving him free again to get another club in January if we try him and he doesn't fit our system, despite training with us for several weeks now.

He has a chance with BOO and Brophy both carrying injuries at the moment too.

I hear JSW back in light training too a bit quicker than expected.

I think to call it light training is pushing it. Looking at his twitter he's only just into the rehab phase and just starting to put weight through his knee. Can't see him being available until well into 2017.

Here we go again. No Obika, Doughty or Kasim tomorrow.

Fuck knows what they do in training. Obika's done his neck heading a ball, ffs.

Doughty's got some gastric throat problem, whatever the fuck that is.

Looking after themselves until January?

Last week, some complained that we played him when he was sick. If he doesn't play tomorrow, I'm waiting to see how many of the same people will complain that we didn't.

Even when he was sick he was better than our other option in the centre of midfield.

I reckon that Brophy is suffering from panic attacks.  They can present like heart problems but the club has confirmed that that the heart monitor has picked up no issue.  I have a feeling that he won't be a professional footballer for much longer.  I hope I'm wrong because he has shown signs of being a handy player.
