The utterly pointless signing of Momar Bangoura has ended, he has now left the club.

Where's the news regarding Pino & Wes? I can see Bangoura being reported on FLIC.

Will be interesting to see what Pino is like, quite surprising it's a perm and that he's dropping to our level. On the face of it he should be a good prospect as is only 19 as has played for Spain (and scored goals) in every age group up to and including under 19 so on the face of it has good pedigree. Would imagine it's a bit more of an achievement representing Spain at any level compared to the dross that seem to go through the English youth system.

That article still mentions 8 loanees so would include Wes unless I'm missing something.

Spanish youth football doesn't look quite as technical as I imagined.

Sometimes my job takes me to Barcelona and on a couple of occasions I've had the privilege of spending the weekend in the city. On one occasion I went for a sizable walk and found myself watching kids football in the Grącia district.

The standard was properly lousy and I mean stereotypical English levels of dreadful. I've never been more reassured to see a tubby kid with a number 5 shirt on just booting it whenever he had the chance.
