I can confirm that Oxford are £33m in debt.
Kassam is upping the rent next year which mean a 25% cut in the wage bill.

Did anyone catch the radio news earlier, something about Oxford being £33M in the red. Didn't catch it all.

Doesnt help that Peter Leven and Michael Dubbery are on 8k a week basic plus a 2k appearance fee.
Apparently they havent been getting there appearance fee for the last 3 months of the season. I believe thats why they wanted to sell the derby tickets so early so they could pay them some of the bonuses they were owed.

Leven's injury was just an insurance scam. He was seen running around in tesco's the very next day.

Is that because they're £33m in debt?

Yes, the Constable song was good but I'm thankful that he stayed at Oxford because he's shite.

True, How many goals did he scored after he turned us down. In fact, other than getting sent off against us I don't remember him doing much at all

They told him not to score because he has a hefty goal scoring bonus and Oxford cant afford to pay it.

Yeah, but the fee from us would have helped clear their £33 million debt I've heard they've got...
