The majority were quite gracious throughout. But what else can you do when you are victims that second half?

Was Cibocchi in attendance yesterday? I don't think Lanzano was there either.

What an amazing day, I'll be still buzzing from this for a long time.

So proud to be a town fan at the moment, with the momentum we could take into the pre-season, and the right signings in the summer, next season is shaping up to be just as exciting as this one. I don't think the team or the fans could have done any more to persuade PdC that STFC is the place to be for a good few years yet.

I've stuck a few photos from yesterday online in case anyone's interested:

Couple of video links by me taken from back of the Townend:

Parading the Trophy

Singing a bit of Queen's "We are the Champions" (not very clear) and "Championes" chucked in towards the end

On the pitch

Back off the pitch

The role Bostock played yesterday really worked a treat for us - roaming all over, wanting the ball, creating a 5th man in midfield if he dropped off, and joining Benson when he needed to. It's the sort of role I think Rooney would revel in as well, after he tore us to shreds in that position for Gillingham earlier in the year. He'll naturally drift in and out of games, but on that evidence, I'd love to see him back here next season.

One of my favourite days following the Club of all time.

From the moment I caught my train at 8.55 and got in the door 10.10 it was perfect.

So many stories and memories........even got to meet Paolo after the match and hold the trophy.
The trains were full of singing as were the pubs.

The players were great.................it was buzzing.

Oxford was very quiet last night.

Have to agree it was a fantastic day

Can't stop singing "Top of the League" to myself, sad I know

Also met a fellow TEF'er on the train to Reading PetsWinPrizes. We played some weird game about naming past Town players, no one knew the rules

Also nice to meet Ginginho, who really doesn't look like Phil Mitchell or have very much ginger hair

With a few key signings in various positions, might well be singing that again next season.

Would like to think yesterdays atmosphere, performance etc would convince quite a few folks to buy season tickets.

I went upstairs earlier tonight after the kids had gone to bed and could hear my 8 year old in bed singing it, followed by 'Stand up for the Champions'.  Priceless!

Good lad. Hopefully he got a few anti Oxford chants in as well. You must be proud.
