Trident Fish Bar is the dogs bollocks. Posh fish and chips.

Another vote for Trident. Their fish is amazing.

There's one real chippy in the whole of Bangkok, and that's hit and miss.

They had one of those in Kingston Langley.....it's now a pub!

Stuck in the dark ages with no card machine.

That's a subtle way of saying, No Cunts Please.

Flash, Hit and Miss do terrible food.  Haven't tried the fish and chips though.

I actually had a craving for fish and chips last week, so went out to eat.  Tasted good but it was poncy little parcels of fish, and a tiny metal bucket of chips.  If my stomach hadn't have shrunk so much with the heat and endless rice meals, I'd have been starving.

Not many chippies over this side of town (Redhouse) but can't fault the chippy here. Large portions, reasonable prices and good quality food.

Is that the one on curry corner? I'll have to give it a try.

I don't get the love for the Peatmoor chippy. Well not in the last six to eight months. I live a few hundred yards away so have been a regular since it opened.

It used to be really good but then they decided to cook the fish to order with the result that it does not have time to drain. So it's just dripping with oil and pretty horrid. Their prices have also taken a steady hike upwards. We still buy chips from there but I cook my own battered fish instead now.

Never noticed the oily batter, but the last lot of fish and chips were average.

The battered sausages the do are disgusting as the batter is very soggy not crispy, which leaves an unpleasant taste.

The chippy at Cavendish square is awful, the indian & pizza place do nicer chips. The fish & chips at Khans in Marlowe Ave are lovely.

I bought a deep fat fryer and cook my own mostly. Some awful chips sold in swindon with the good chippys in the minority

I can't even remember the last time I had a chippy tea.

Calne is totally shit for FnC IMO....ok for a pie or sausage but the fish is woeful.

Same family run all three...methinks.

I had FNC in Swindon pre match a few weeks back in that place just up from Wilkinsons and was quite impressed.
