At risk of getting into a debate the whole blaming the fans at liverpool over hillsbrough annoys me and it annoys me more when people mock them for wanting justice. It was a massive disaster that the press took the piss out of and rightly justice is sought. As for heysel they do have a permanent memorial.

You are quite right, there were thousands of coppers at the back forcing Liverpool fans onto the terrace crushing the fans at the front. Whilst the police, the FA & the TV companies all share some of the blame for various other reasons the fans that were actually doing the pushing from the back are completely blameless. And FWIW isn't there a memorial at Anfield for the victims? |
