McEveley would be a quality signing for League One, let alone League Two!

Andy Driver of Hearts was the only one who sprung to mind for me too, but not a position we need and very unlikely
Andy Driver had immense stats on FM10 and 11 :-)

If we can keeps him fit, he'd be a very good signing indeed. Spells the end for Kennedy I think.

I am very impressed with Jay McEveley, to have a current(ish) full Scottish international who is pretty close to the prime of his career at 27.

Very big and strong and good in the tackle with a little bit of pace.

Hes very much in the Andy Nicholas mould but better!

This does show that we do mean business in not just this leaugue but the next one above too.

I am pretty sure he can play at Wembley too if needed as hes been registered in time (if he does sign today) and obviously hasn't played in any of the earlier rounds.

But.....he wouldn't bring him in unless he was ready to play from the off, and with Cibbo looking like he may be carrying an injury after last night and Kennedy not being apparently rated by Paolo.....

Cibo must play Sunday. Harsh if he doesn't.

I agree but he went off with an injury last night, any idea if its a serious one? if it was precautionary then thats good, I rate Cibbo after his poor start to his Swindon career, I don't think Paolo sees him as a first choice at al though.

As much as i think it is a great signing i don't think it is right he should be involved Sunday. It does seem likely that this spells the end of kennedys swindon future but it would be nice if his last major involvement was at wembley.

he said it wasn't serious on twitter, so hope he'll be ok.

Paolo did say that it looks highly unlikely that Caddis will play a part at Wembley too, I feel gutted for him hes been a stalwart this season, one of the contenders for POTY along with Ritchie, Fodders and McCormack.

Be a real shame that he has performed so well and to miss out on a big game for him.

They did, at the weekend they said he would be back, yet yesterday they said he almost certainly wouldn't, can't be healing quite as quickly as they hoped for.
