PDC:
- Proved that they are v professional
- Changed their mentality
- If we carry on like this there is not another team that can beat them
- Going to Wembley for a group of young lads is not easy
- Pleased that they go to Wembley now with confidence
- Dominated the second half
- Changes from weekend all worked
- Promotion is the main target still
- In 10 years when he is managing Swindon in the Champions league, or after Swindon have kicked him out, PDC will remember the Wembley trip
- Connell hasnt been in the last 2 games because he hadnt convinced him he should be in the team
- Connell looked more angry in training, which was why he was picked
- Risser is not an natural orchestrator in the middle of the field like Simon Ferry, but is more of a defensive central midfielder. Scored a great goal and defended very well afterwards
- Doesn't know what team he will field at Wembley. Will check to see how players react tomorrow. Bets no one will be in the physios room in the morning!
- Going to watch Chesterfield vs Hudders game to plan how to play
- Possibility of a new player. Wouldn't say anything about him though.

Cracking game and result.

Pretty sure Risser's header would still be travelling if there was no net there, fuck me did he hit that hard.

Well done you lot. We lost to a better team tonight.  Clap

I reckon you'll finish in top spot easily. I'll be very happy if we make it into third place behind Shrewsbury. That's just about achievable for us..   Thumb

Very pleased with the second half performance, almost back to our best. Risser was a rock today and Ferry played a blinder. Great to see Connell play well and for the full 90 minutes! What's happened to Bodin? Any news on Caddis?

Crowd were quiet again (like a library  Cheesy)

Wembley here we come!

Oooh, Shaun Taylor'esqe !!

Regarding the game, as comfortable a home game as you can expect.

That's 15 clean sheets in 19 home games this season, despite having to play centre mids at the back mostly this season. Sides are scared to come and attack us at the CG.

Best performance for a few games.

Torquay actually started brighter and for 10 or 15 minutes were probably the better team. But we got back to doing what we did best, we adapted and got stronger and stronger the longer the game went on. Second half we totally dominated.

The only surprise was that out two goals came from set pieces, it hides that we were dangerous from open play too.

I think the first was an OG, but Connell was in the right area and I think put in his best all round performance in a Town shirt tonight. Risser's bullet header capped a fine performance from him, hence his MOM.

I think the back 4 looked to have better balance with Devera at RB and McCormack back in the middle.

Bring on Chesterfield.

I like Torquay (I just wish you didn't play in yellow). Hopefully we'll meet again in L1 next season.
