The singing in the Arkells is getting less unusual - there is a very vocal crowd of teenagers just behind me and Notts Red, whose enthusiasm is starting to rub off on people around them - its very refreshing.

Was just going to say the same.  We get a fair bit of noise around by us in the Arkells every game now and more people seem to join in as the game goes on.

Can somebody also clarify whether Caddis went off due to injury or illness?

Caddis went of injured was seen leaving the ground in a space boot scan booked for Thursday, let's hope it is not serious and only out for a couple of weeks, not sure who we would put at RB if he's out for anything other than 1 game though

Chuck in the Samsung contract winner. He's almost certainly ready.

Thompson has always done well for us in the few chances he has had.

Yes heard that too, would of been a good opportunity to rest Caddis if he had a bug ready to face Cheltenham fully fit. If we win Saturday it might still be a blessing that he has got the weekend off anyway. Hope it's not going to keep him out of more than a game or two though.

Sounded like a couple of new songs were sung last night, I was too high to sing last night.

Oli Risser to the tune of Macarena:

He is from Namibia and his name is Oli Risser,
Getting better in the air and on the deck is Oli Risser,
Used to be club captain, now he's not, Oli Risser...
HHEEEEEYYYY OLI RISSER, AIIIGHT!

He is from Namibia and his name is Oli Risser,
Getting better in the air and on the deck is Oli Risser,
His name is rhyming slang for "I need to use the pisser"
POW! Right in the Risser!

And also a nice team based song to the tune of Agadoo:

YOU. KNOW. Who, who, who, Simon Ferry, Matt Ritchie,
You know who, who, who, Jonny Smith and Luke Rooney,
On the left, on the right, get the ball up and down the wings,
And we'll dance all night long to our Paolo's melodies.

Loved the comments.....

Well said. Yeah **** 'em.

Bunch of ignorant feckwits who weren't even at the game but think they know all about the ref's decisions and how much injury time there should have been.

Make Gillingham look more appealing, which takes some doing.

Back in the 90's I used to sometimes help out behind the bar in the Crown in Abbey Foregate before matches. The Oxford fans stuck in my memory as the most arrogant, ill-mannered bunch of tw#ts I've ever met!

Another comfortable victory yesterday, and great to get back on track.

I thought Dagenham did alright until they went down to 10 men, and their decision to go 4-3-2 at the break was stupid. Devera was quality, as was McCormack, who is continuing to prove he can play anywhere. I liked the new song for Foderingham as well.

The other results were great for us as well, massive game Saturday.
