Over 2000 sold with 10% new holders.

Not too shabby considering the cost of Wembley etc

Wasn't this year's over 5 k? That's quite a bit to shift in a week to retain the same levels. 10% new is encouraging though.

It does mean that only 1800 out of 5000 have renewed so far (approx) although there's still another payday for many before the deadline.

I haven't done mine yet. When the deadline's imminent there should be another rush of sales (after which they'll extend the deadline by another week!).

I'm hoping they extend the deadline. Otherwise I can't renew, as I don't want to pay monthly.

Fair point about payday, I'm holding out myself.

I will be pissed off if I struggle to get it together, pay on Friday/Sat then they extend it after though. The extension, if there is one, should be announced ASAP.

That way I can get my car serviced and defer renewal until next month Smiley

But you'll be happy to pay a higher price, fortnightly (roughly), when the season starts ? - I'm afraid I don't understand that logic.

I do, I don't want to deal with the credit agency either.

He may pay the higher price, but he may not go as frequently to compensate.

Ok. I'll stop trying to anticipate other peoples' financial situations. I don't see why the club should renege on previously published deadlines though - It'll only make those who have already renewed frustrated

Well I agree with that Nev. Trouble is, if the sales did prove low and they didn't extend because it would rightly P people off that had renewed, they could be shooting themselves in the foot.

Which is why I think the seemingly bad planning/like of early visibility on the deadline was a cock up.

This goes for me too.  Would love to get a ST, but the rise along with the early deadline means that I will just pick and choose unfortunately.  I will probably end up going to 15 or so matches, and will promotions etc during the season it means I will be better off.

I still think it was too big a jump in one go.  If they would have put £50 - £80 on then faie enough, but £110 is too steep in one go IMO.  Understand why they are doing it, but circumstances dictate for me.
