Open an account with coral and boylesport.  Look out for evening greyhound markets.  Sometimes they let you bet on the race after it has finished (only on races which are not live at the bookmakers).  Stick a £10 forecast on the first two dogs, usually pays anywhere between £90-£500.

I just tried without making an account, but it says it has already started, and then the odds get greyed out.

No all the races run today are live at the bookmakers and they provide prices so you won't be able to bet after the event

On Tuesdays theire are races at Poole which arent broadcast live at the bookies.  So you may have a chance.  However in the last 3 weeks ive only managed to do one late bet which won me £200.  Unfortunately you will have to sit on your pc all night and hopefully come across a race which you can place a late bet on

Does it have to be done quickly, i.e. within a couple of minutes?

Also, why wouldn't you bet more than 10 pounds? In case it doesn't get paid out?

Yes as they will only let you bet on the event untill their system stops you (ie it greys out like you experienced).

Usually you can get a result 1 minute after the race.  If you bet on an event 15 minutes after its finished, your more likely to be caugyty

You mentioned using it showing prices for ones that don't work.

So it should say SP or whatever, if it stands any chance of working?

Yes

Its not odd for online bookies to pay winning bets of between £100-£600.   If you start winning £2,000 on a bet, they will probably investigate your account

If it shows prices it means the bookies have a feed to the race.  As a result they will close the race when the race is just about to start (to prevent any late bets).  If it shows SP all the time, it means they dont have a feed.

Again i cant promise you that this will happen for a while (otherwise i wouldnt have bothered broadcasting it on here as everyone would do it).  However if your patient and know what races to look for, you will make a fair wack in the long run

Leicester 2-2 West Ham, Drinkwater scorecast 175/1

Drinkwater first and last goalscorer at 20/1

As you can see I think Drinkwater may score

Expect a torrent of abuse when he doesn't score. Have you got a live stream?
