The thing is with these free bets, you need to wager some of that to withdraw anything don't you?

Which you match off at a betting exhcange i.e. Betfair for no risk profit

not all of them, just have to read the small print, some make you bet 3 times before you can withdraw yes.

Skybet give you a free 5 pound bet (or 10 pounds I can't remember). No deposit.

And you can choose an extra bonus on top of that. Like £10 free to play on sky bingo etc.

The trick is to lay the same result at the exchange at the same or similar odds. You lose on one but win the other, therefore losing a tiny amount of cash (the commission at the exchange more often than not).

Do the same with the free bet when you get it, but because it is free money at the bookies you are guaranteed a profit.

e.g. initial bet £20 at bookies at evens would mean you win £20 or lose £20. The same bet laid at the exchange at the same odds would mean you lose £20. Effect = lose £20 at the exchange but gain £20 at the bookies = £0 profit/loss.

Free bet of £20 at bookies at evens would mean you win £20 or lose £0. Lay this bet at the exchange for £10 at the same odds. Win at the exchange you make £10, lose the lay and you're £10 down.
Effect = lose £10 at the exchange but make £20 at the bookiers = £10 profit or vice-versa.

Obviously a very simple example assuming the free bet pays out at low odds (you may need higher than evens) and doesn't take into account the commission at the exchange. But there are online calculators which work out what you need to stake to maximise profit.

Open an account with coral and boylesport.  Look out for evening greyhound markets.  Sometimes they let you bet on the race after it has finished (only on races which are not live at the bookmakers).  Stick a £10 forecast on the first two dogs, usually pays anywhere between £90-£500.
The bookies always pay out and never cotton onto the fact that you have placed a bet 1 minute after the off time.

Skybet and totesport used to be the same, but they have changed their software recently (probably after realising i spunked then for a few grand )
