How do you take bets? Betfair?

I'm a bookie on the course and have my own phone account customers

Impressive. So you don't really make any bets then?

Not sure what you mean.
If you mean do I just take bets, then no.
Betting is in the blood and I like all punters have a dabble.

If you want to have a bet and you have serious money then I'll lay it, not in the habit of laying bets for 50p or £5. The more you want to back in money the lower the odds seem to attract a punter.
Without doubt the best value in gambling is football bets, where else will you get two possible winners in a three horse race when in some cases are all odds against.

If I've not made myself clear about footie bets, look at Arsenal v Chelsea tomorrow, who do you fancy?

If you shop around you can get Arsenal at 11/8
The draw at 11/4
Chelsea at 10/3

back any two from three and you win, great value if you are prepared to fork out serious money

Couldn't agree more dell. 2 bets that always serve me well over the course of a season are home teams over 4s and red cards in televised games.

Surely the red card bet is a bit more hit and miss and less easy to try and predict or does that make the odds higher?

You get decent odds.I would say you get a sending off every 3-4 games on tv then you get a mad run where it happens nearly every game for a month.

Bristol City to beat Barnsley at 8/11

Crawley to beat Dag and Red 4/6

Done a double

Barnsley awful as of late and Bristol need to win to secure safety

Dags are safe and Crawley need to win to keep 3rd spot

Crawley always do me over though !
