If Swindon win the league I win £100, if Shrewsbury win the league I win £110. Can't lose.

If you just put £10 win on STFC to win the league, then your bet is probably void Wink

I got 18/1 on Steve Kean to be the next manager to leave their job in the Premiership just before they lost to Liverpool, which I put quite a bit on.
Thought that was very generous considering who their owners are and they were still in relegation when those odds were on offer. Also the bet doesn't include Terry Conner as he's only a caretaker manager. Fingers crossed their players keep refusing to play for him!

I got blackburn to go down at 5s but i also had newcastle. My old man has a cracking double on van persie(14s) and lambert(22s) top goalscorers which looks set to bring him in a few grand.

Lambert was at 22s? Crazy.

I know it is easy to say in hindsight, but that's a cracking bet.

I would never in a million years have thought Lambert had a chance being top scorer. He's fat.

Bloody West Ham Bad Mood

Cost me and a mate - thousands !!    literally  Angry

Pre-season we put on a bet to predict the winners of each league -

Man Utd

West Ham

Charlton

Town

For a tenner we'd have scooped £2600 !!  As I put it at fiver/each way we'd still have won £600 if they came second

But no, barring a miracle and Saints crash and burn - we aint gonna get a bean !! Crying

Still, not the end of the world, as I had £25 on Town to win the title at 10-1 so (hopefully) will do nicely out of that.

We cant 'do a West Ham' can we ?    no.....no.....no.... No
