Hope you fine people can help me,

Recently joined a gym and have mainly doing cardio. Running there & back treadmill etc and need some decent running shoes.

I worked in a sports shop for over 2 years so know what kind of stuff i'm looking for, can anyone recommend anywhere to get them cheap either online or an actual shop.

Anything has to be better than the shite Hi Techs i'm currently wearing...

Try sports direct as they do a good range of Asics running shoes & on the website they normally have some good deals on last pairs.

All depends on how serious you are at taking this running malarky. If you buy cheap ones they can ruin you. I'd buy from a proper running shop if you are serious, as they advise trainers on how you run.

Asics are some of the best. I wear Nike shox.

Go to a decent running shop and most have a treadmill where they can test what type of trainers are best for you by how you run.

Agree with Sippo here, I've had cheap running shoes and they messed up my knees.  Shop in old town trainers are not cheap but they do make sure you get the right ones.

If you are going to run seriously get yourself to a proper running shop for a fitting. You will pay more but it is worth it.

Agree on this - go to Run Swindon in Old Town, avoid the Big Adventure place.

As long as you don't wear them with fucking jeans to a nightclub or something.

Can't believe some people at my uni actually do it. Running/gym trainers WITH jeans.

dont use wiggle
spent 60quid on a "new" pair of trainers from them last month when received canvas on trainers was fine but the soles were all gritty like someone had been running in them charged me £2.50 to return but i did eat the free bag of haribo that they sent with the shoes.

I purchased from here instead www.SportsShoes.com
