inferiority complex

Can we please stop using this. it is only a complex if it is only a feeling of inferiority. Oxford do not have an inferiority complex. They are inferior. On every measurable scale.

And for the record I want to beat Oxford more than any other team except:

Beat Oxford or promotion : Promotion
Beat Oxford or win JPT : JPT
Promotion or JPT: Promotion
Beat Oxford or win league : Win league.

This can be expressed as

Win League > Win promotion > JPT > Beating Oxford > Beating Accrington Stanley

Hope we can now put this to bed.

It really is one big spastic farm on there.

So do why so many people on here go on there? I don't see the point myself.

The only reason this game has more significance is that it might well be 10 years before we get the chance to beat them again Wink

Morbid curiosity.  You know you shouldn't be looking - and that voyeurism/preying on the unfortunate for your own amusement is morally dubious - but it draws you in, like a fly to a lamp.  You are powerless to resist.

It's a bit like one of those Victorian freak shows.  Just with added aggression.

Will be drinking in Oxford before the game as I always have done, just a shame it's so early, have to make the extra effort to get their even earlier.

As an aside, if Oxford did win they could be as little as 10 (t e n) points behind us, assuming we lost Tuesday too.

Burton haven't won any of their last 10 (t e n) games. As long as Paolo doesn't go overboard with his reaction to today's performance a defeat really shouldn't be on the cards.

Good

Can't fathom why somebody would do that. Putting Swindon/football loving aside why would your partner deprive you of something like that? Doesn't matter if it's football, opera or a seat in a fancy restaurant. It's such a selfish act.

Tell your mate to hide the ticket.

Ah

My cynical mind didn't think of that.

Looking on their forum, there seems to be a massive shift in attitude after todays games. Its a realisation. This game they have been looking forward to for so long is now upon them and STFC are coming with one hell of a team.

But enough already! Tuesday is MASSIVE for us. We can go 4 points clear at the top, and beat the club record for wins in a row again. 10 wins in a row? Stick that in your pipe scummers!
