really good article, love the bit about him cooking for the other italian staff.
The bit where he gatecrashes oppositions pitches to have a kick around with them made me chuckle too because that is just Paolo

I think that Richie will really turn it on today so 3-1 Town with Mageera among the scorers

No shame in that either

2-1 win. Got to get into them from the start though. Just setting off now. Smiley

I think it will be a tough game and a good measure of how far we have come. Don't really think we will win it as they have found their form now but a draw wouldn't be a shock. I'm going for 2-2 with us coming from behind twice! Nobody would want a replay given our fixture congestion but it keeps the magic alive for a bit longer :-)

A win would be special.  But if we lose - and we most likely will - I know I'm going to feel a little relieved that a major distraction to from the promotion drive will have been removed.

Just need to avoid a draw at all costs!  If we're one down in the 92nd minute and Connell is one on one with their keeper...tough one!   Wink

I think this is a game too far for us. No disgrace is a 2-0 defeat. Just about to set off.

Remember a draw would probably net the club about half a million quid. TV companies would be fighting over it, and it would be a full house at the county ground. We used to have unlimited replays, that was the time to worry about them. A draw would be a fantastic result. We can handle the games. Come on Swindon.

Half a million? Genuinely?

True that. Difficult to know whether it would provide a distraction or motivation to keep their place in the team.

In may ways I think a JPT final would provide the perfect amount of reward/distraction payoff.

I thought winning itself today was around 100K. But IF we got a big team away + TV coverage I could see that.
