I'm trying to get my 6 year old nephew into football. He went to blackpool away a few years ago and loved it, I'm trying to persuade my brother to let me take him to a few home games this season Trouble is he lives in Portsmouth.

All mine are dead. My favourite Nan lived in Sherbourne where we have a friendly so I could have taken her to that if she hadn't died..She wouldnt have liked it though. She preferred drinking 2 bottles of Sherry a night and buying me Pork Pies I miss my Nan she looked like Les Dawson when she took her teeth out. http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/guide/images/400/lesdawsonshow_2.jpgMy Nans the one on the left for younger readers.

All mine are dead as well, long time ago now.
My gran liked having brandy in everything, when we used to go and stay when I was young, it was brandy in the cup of tea she brought you first thing in the morning.

Might take my Nan to the Bristol game cos she will start a fight with them all. It would be funny.

Nans can be greincredibly funny at footy matches. A great idea, but mine don't live near here and wouldn't go anyway.

In our Nan's defence, think how much the country has changed in their lifetime. As always there's no excuse for racism but when the older generation come out with a couple of close to the bone comments I can kinda see why.

I'm not bringing my nan,she might fit in as she is a swindoner and swears like a trooper. But it would be a waste of money because she would only fall asleep. She might embarrass my dad too, talks to him like he is 6 still I would of taken my gramp but I think he is more city than swindon Anyway in total my family have made 8 people into swindon fans!
