We have to start with Flint and McCormack in as many games as possible, they are by far our best pairing... McCormack will be nicely rested and raring to go i imagine.

Agree McCormack should slot straight back in. Not a slight on how Devera has played though, having him as your 3rd best centre back is a good indication of the strength of the squad.

Earlier in the season there were so many people (noticeably Vic Morgan) constantly blabbing on about the size of our squad. (which was not that big)

It seem a different tune is now being sung.

Players like Devera and Risser are now really beginning to show their value. That's what having a squad is all about.

the thing with Ritchie is out doesn't matter how badly he is playing even then he can still win you a game

Totally agree. I watched MOTD last night and Wolves put over a few decent crosses from the left wing by a left foot. Commentator was creaming over the deliveries. Ritchie can deliver those types of crosses.
I like players, even when not playing well to have a go on goal. We get this from Ritchie.
That bullet yesterday was going in. The lad done well apart from getting a headache stopping it.

Di Canio's sending off and subsequent rant has made it into the daily papers in Norway:

http://www.dagbladet.no/2012/01/24/sport/fotball/league_two/swindon/paolo_di_canio/19922658/

One of the comments at the bottom is great, it translates as "to ask an Italian not to wave his arms when he is engaged is like asking a helicopter to fly without using the rotors"  Smiley

Haha, ace. All the publicity we are getting at the moment is great.

It takes the spot light away from the players as well.

Another Norwegian news outlet, another Di Canio story...except this time, he's violently assaulting his own players IN THE ARSE!

Torquay winning tonight means they will overtake us if they beat Northampton at home on Saturday (and let's face it they will!)

Torquay have quietly gone about their business and are sitting in a good position to keep the pressure on those above them. I thought Billy would be going back to them but maybe we will leave it until the last day if he does.

I see Macclesfield had their appeal against the red card rejected.

Has PDC been charged yet, how long do they get to charge him?

Is it mandatory for a manager to be charged after being sent off?

Or could they just let it go?
