And there's loads of land for development around it.

As long as you don't get more than 10,000 fans causing congestion.

I just said it. He's right about the Council being arsey about planning permission, but wrong on the other 2 things I mentioned and also there are foundations laid for the 4th stand, so its entirely possible. If we got to the Championship it'd be built.

I remember that you tried to talk about our ground before and got lots of the basics wrong, and you're doing it again. Everyone knows its shit, its a small part of the reasons we hate Kassam, so there's no penny dropping. And there's loads of land for development around it.

Which bits are wrong then?  I don't claim to have got the fine detail right, by the way.  It's not my club, so I'm no expert on that.  But the general thrust is about right, isn't it?  I lived in Oxford for a period in the 1990s (a few years before the move actually happened).  The ground move story seemed to drag on and on; hurdle after hurdle to clear.  And the options really were limited, as I remember...which, of course, they were bound to be in a city like Oxford.  The centre of Oxford is basically owned by the Colleges, along with a lot of the land further out.  Land for developments of that nature is/was so scarce that you were never going to have much of a choice, location wise...no?

And no funny jokes about the 4th stand being impossible because we'll never get to the Championship. That wasn't his point anyway.

At last some modesty.

I've said which bits were wrong.

Wasn't trying to wind anyone up, OF.  Apologies if I did.

Naah no worries, I'm a pedant at the best of times but especially when it comes to my club.

You claim to be a pedant but still you struggle with the "it's" and "its" thing.

That's down to laziness and informality, I'm not necessarily a grammar pedant.
